Seven Years Later…
Well... it's been one interesting year, now hasn't it?
Lots of travel and adventures were had. New things to see, sunrises and sunsets from different parts of the country and the world. The start of that feeling "I wish he could see this..." goes away when you know that in a way, he is.
All the kids are growing up. There are those of that believe energy can pass through generations, picking up where genetics leaves off. With a certain turn of the head, turn of phrase, smirk... you see how it's possible, and you smile.
Of course it's not only the kids who are getting older, at a certain age (above two score) things just don't like to work as well as they once did, requiring some new parts. Something new in common. And like with him - challenges like new parts or boxes that jump out of nowhere are just little "things" and not set-backs.
This year, for the end of the days between, you'll have some family company. We know that with each ray of sunshine seen and feeling of glassware in our hands - he's there... whispering in our ear a good natured joke about some of the people we'll see.
With our hearts full of love, we come back to look upon these images, remember wonderful times and raise a glass (or several) to his memory.
Bob's family is very grateful to each and every one of you.
*Days Between is a tradition of remembering a loved one, when the day they were born and the day they departed are close together.
